In the current property market many people are opting out of houses and into apartments. Jian Zhang, Sales Director of luxury real estate agency, Atlas Real Estate, has reported a recent surge in property buyers looking exclusively for penthouses. As society adjusts to the world post-COVID, more people want the experience where they can work comfortably from home without the maintenance demands of yards, gardens and pools — which is accommodated with most penthouses.

“Young professionals and older Aussies are the two key demographics that are swooping up penthouses across the capital cities of Australia. They are looking to move into apartments that tower over the city scape and provide breathtaking views and privacy,” said Zhang.
